Description

Our 5-day iSQI® CAT Certified Agile Tester training course will prepare you for the three part examination that must all be passed to gain the qualification. Our training session introduces experienced testers to the practices that you will need to understand and use to be effective team members and testers on an Agile Project. It's been designed as a very interactive course, you will have the opportunity to discuss and share your experiences with other and to extend your knowledge of testing in Agile Projects.

There are practical exercises based on a complete Agile Lifecycle are used to help you to put learning and your knowledge of testing in Agile Projects. Your soft skills are assessed throughout the course base on your contributions to the classroom discussions and practical exercises. The information provided by classroom discussion and homework will prepare you for the written examination on the final day. The skills developed in the practical exercises will also prepare you for the practical assessment on the final day of the training session.

    Prerequisites

    There are no mandatory prerequisites for the iSQI® CAT Certified Agile Tester Certificate, but we do recommend you have some experience of testing as the course assumes some knowledge and will not teach basic testing knowledge, such as fundamentals of testing, test case specification or testing terminology.

    Prereading

    Please Note: You will be expected to do between 1 1/2 hour's homework per night.

    Exam Overview

    iSQI® CAT Certified Agile Tester Examination:

    The exam contains 3 separate sections:

    1. Soft Skills Assessment: This take place on a daily basis and is managed by the tutor based upon your participation and contribution to the practical exercises contained in the course

    2. Practical Assessment: This is a 2 hour exam in which you must demonstrate they have learned and can apply the Agile skills taught in the course

    3. Written Exam: This is a 2 1/2 hour essay based exam where you must construct your own answers and solutions to 3 set scenarios
