By the end of this course, learners will be able to understand the core concepts of artificial intelligence, including generative AI, natural language processing, speech, computer vision, and information extraction. They will be able to explain how large language models, prompts, and AI agents are used in modern AI systems.
Learners will also be able to describe how text is processed using tokenization and semantic models, and how speech technologies such as recognition and synthesis are implemented in AI solutions. They will gain an understanding of computer vision techniques, including image analysis, neural networks, and multimodal models.
In addition, learners will be able to explain how information is extracted from documents and media using OCR and data mapping techniques. They will also gain foundational knowledge of how Azure AI services and Microsoft Foundry are used to build and deploy AI applications and agents.
Finally, learners will be able to identify real-world applications of AI and understand the importance of responsible AI development.
This course is ideal for beginners who want to understand the fundamentals of artificial intelligence and how it is applied in Microsoft Azure. It is suitable for students, non-technical professionals, and anyone starting a career in AI or cloud computing.
This course includes beginner-friendly training covering the fundamentals of AI and Azure AI services. Learners will explore key concepts such as generative AI, speech, vision, NLP, and information extraction through guided explanations and real-world examples.
No prior experience in AI or cloud computing is required. Basic computer literacy is sufficient.
Learners are encouraged to explore introductory Microsoft Learn materials on artificial intelligence, generative AI, natural language processing, and Azure AI services. Reading about basic machine learning concepts and cloud computing fundamentals will also be beneficial.
This course does not include a formal exam. Learners are assessed through participation and understanding of the material covered. A Certificate of Completion is awarded upon completion.
After completing this course, learners can progress to advanced Azure AI training such as AI-103, AI-200, or other AI development and cloud architecture courses.
This is a beginner-level foundation course designed to introduce artificial intelligence concepts in a simple and structured way. No technical background is required.
